Dongdaemun Market, Seoul, Korea

Dongdaemun Market is a shopping haven for both locals and tourists alike. Shopped for several hours here. The ladies apparel are sold at a relatively cheap price as compared to SG and KL, where we might have to pay a premium to ride on the latest fashion tide. As I wander around the streets of Seoul (and Dongdaemun, esp)hunting for clothes, was also pleasantly surprised at how affordable the clothes are even when the Malaysian Ringgit hit the rock bottom.

Not really fond of shopping at ‘tax free’ shopping malls that are targeting solely at the tourists. Instead, I shopped at the mall next door where locals patronise. Really like the building facade, though.

Dongdaemun Design Plaza designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. Kinda (and is meant to) resemble the UFO, no? 🙂
